The Xiaomi 14 Ultra has managed to combine a slick design with incredible performance into one smooth package that exudes class. Construction is mainly made of glass front protection with Gorilla Glass 5, either glass or silicone polymer back, and an aluminum frame to provide strength. Being compact and lightweight yet sturdy, measuring only 152.8 x 71.5 x 8.0 mm and weighing just 185g, it's mostly suited for heavy consumers. With IP68 class water and dust resistance, it is designed to resist up to 1.5 meters deep and for as long as 30 minutes-perfectly adequate for daily adventure, and even for those occasional mishaps.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a 6.36-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, providing smooth visuals, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and rich contrast. Having reached the maximum brightness of 1900 nits, the display was clear under direct sunlight. With a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with a pixel density of 414 ppi, it comes up with crisp details for videos, games, and daily browsing in ~89.4% screen-to-body ratio.

Performance and Software

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra also fits the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset on a 4nm process for extreme performance under its hood. An octa-core CPU teamed with an Adreno 740 GPU throttles multitasking, gaming, and graphic-intensive applications with ease. At the top, it boots Android 13 with MIUI 14 to promise seamless navigation, fluid touchscreen motions, and an intuitive interface; Android 14 is promised.

Camera System

The triple camera of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has been aligned in such a way that all three cameras are very good for versatility. It includes a 50MP wide lens for sharp detail, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera to snap expansive shots. Moreover, assisted by Leica lenses and HDR, this camera system goes great to capture everything from low-light scenes to fast-moving action. It records 8K video at 24fps and 4K video at as high as 60fps, with Dolby Vision HDR and gyro-EIS for stable, cinematic shots. The front camera is a 32MP selfie camera that takes great portrait shots, assisted by HDR to make you look your best.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes fitted with a 4500mAh battery and supports 67W fast wired charging, which it claims can achieve full charge in just 38 minutes. Other than this, the phone also supports 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging, so you have options and it's fast either way.

Connectivity and Additional Features

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra features Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and an infrared port. It also comes with under-display fingerprint sensing, stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio, and color spectrum sensors. It comes in colors such as White, Black, and Flora Green and is just as powerful as it is customizable.
