The Oppo A77 marries sleek design with essential features to promise value in a compact, comely package. Its casing is light, made of glass for the front, plastic for the frame, and plastic for the back-durable and comfortable to handle. With IPX4 water resistance, it's protected against splashes and thus suitable for on-the-go lifestyles. Slim at 8 mm thick and weighing 190 g, the A77 also features Dual SIM support to further sweeten matters of convenience.

Display and Visuals

The 6.56-inch IPS LCD display on the A77 is engrossing, with vibrant visuals at HD+ resolution, 720 x 1612 pixels in a 20:9 aspect ratio boasting an immersive 84% screen-to-body ratio. It's smoother while scrolling and light gaming courtesy of the 90Hz refresh rate. The brightness goes up to 480 nits typical and 600 nits boosted-HBM for good outdoor visibility.

Performance and Software

The A77 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor on 6 nm architecture, hence balanced performance for everyday multitasking and media consumption. It packs an octa-core CPU, with two high-performance Cortex-A76 cores running at 2.4 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz, thus promising good power efficiency in handling standard tasks. Smooth performance for casual gaming and video playback will be handled by the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It will run Android 12 out of the box, with ColorOS 14 upgradable to Android 14, meaning it will provide an intuitive interface with enhanced customization and more comprehensive privacy controls.

Camera System

The dual-camera module on the back of the Oppo A77 boasts a 48MP main lens with an f/1.7 aperture and PDAF to result in stunning images even in low-light modes. This is further supplemented by a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots with naturally blurred backgrounds. The camera application further offers support for HDR and panorama modes, and video can be recorded at 1080p@30fps. On the front, an 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera clicks clear selfies and also supports 1080p video recording.

Battery and Charging

The A77 comes fitted with a big 5000mAh battery that will keep it up and running all day long. Plus, 33-watt wired charging fills the battery up to 53% in just 30 minutes (advertised), adding more convenience for the busy user.
